As if decorating for Halloween isn't fun enough, this year I get to decorate for my new house! Of course new house means new stuff. Right?
This year I picked up this adorable witch hat wreath at a craft fair. I knew when I saw it it was made for me. Of course, I decided I needed to add more stuff to go with the wreath, so I added a couple of banners, pumpkins and lights. The cool thing about the pumpkins and lights is they will transition into fall easily.

I picked up the banners from Amazon and also purchased a set for Thanksgiving and Christmas. What an easy way to decorate.
Now, about that wreath . . . I wanted to learn how to make one.

I found a tutorial by MardiGrasOutlet on YouTube on how to make a Christmas Garland. I didn't have the work garland the tutorial called for, so I just used a string of purple lights and chenille sticks to make it work. I'm super pleased with the results and plan to make one for Thanksgiving and Christmas too. And, I'll give the wreath-making a go too.
For the pathway along the side of house we added the spider web and a few light-up graves. What's fun is our two black cats seem to love to hang out in this spot in the evenings. I love it when the animals decide to help.
This year I also decided to dust off my sewing and embroidery machine and get back to making fun stuff. I attended a couple of classes earlier in the year to get back into the groove. While at class someone mentioned OESD as a design site to check out. I did and WOW! Great designs! I may have purchased a few . . . hundred. LOL! Here are the Halloween designs I worked up for tea lights. They are FANTASIC.

I also took another Kimberbell class at Rockin Bobbin Quilt Shop. Here is the coaster and witch hat I made. TOO FUN!
